Another Big Wednesday

Update

At 8am Wednesday morning 5” new snow has registered overnight at the Challenger snow-stake with snow flurries in the air and a temperature of 10 degrees in the village. For today expect snow flurries to continue this morning before partial clearing around noon with cloudy skies and sunny spells being the afternoon forecast and a high temperature of around 18 degrees at 8000’. NW winds will be light to moderate 10-15mph with gusts up to 25mph.

Thursday looks to be a mix of sun and clouds with continuing moderating daytime temps into the mid 20’s at 8000’. SW winds return Thursday with gusts up to 25mph. Yet another shortwave system is expected for Friday/Saturday with another few inches possible. A much more organized winter storm will enter SW Montana Saturday night that looks to bring significant snowfall to Big Sky through Sunday night. I’ll keep ya’ posted. Thanks again for reading.
