Tram Thursday

Update

At 8am Thursday morning around an inch or two of new snow has registered overnight at the challenging Challenger snow-stake with sunny skies over Lone Mountain and a temperature of 8 degrees in the village. For today expect sunny skies with a few clouds this afternoon and a high temperature of around 22 degrees at 8000’. SW winds will be light to moderate 12-17mph with gusts up to 22mph. It appears the Tram will open today…

Yet another shortwave system is expected to arrive Friday morning with 1-3 inches possible through the day. Tomorrow looks to be a windy day as well with west winds 25-35mph and falling temps in the afternoon. Saturday looks to be a cloudy and breezy day with highs at 8000’ around 18. A much more organized winter storm will enter SW Montana Saturday night that looks to bring 5-10” to Big Sky through Sunday night. The snow looks to continue Sunday night before tapering off on Monday. Rip it up out there.
