Bluebird Thursday

Update

At 8am Thursday morning no new snow has fallen overnight with blue skies and the sun shining all across the resort and a temperature of 8 degrees in the village. For today expect sunny skies and a high temperature of 26 degrees at 8000’. Very light SW winds of 5-10mph will be felt on ridge tops.

The weather pattern will dry out for the rest of the week through midday Sunday. Strong high-pressure builds over the NW diverting storms to the south and north of Montana. The good news is that sunny skies (daily) and gradually warming temperatures (high of 30 at 8000’ by Friday) should keep the snow stellar across Big Sky through Sunday. Snow returns to the forecast late Sunday afternoon and looks to last into Monday.
