Monday

We picked up 1 inch on Sunday night thanks to a narrow band of snow that moved into northern Colorado.

We'll now receive off-and-on light to moderate snowfall on Monday morning ahead of the snow machine ramping up to full pow(d)er on Monday afternoon.

Expect snowfall rates to crank up during the second half of the day, with a period of intense snowfall possible between roughly 3 pm and 8 pm. This could offer storm skiing turns as snowfall rates approach 1-2 inches per hour for last chair Monday, followed by the storm continuing to deliver heavy snowfall through early Monday night.

In total, I'll increase the forecast to 4-8 inches through Monday night, with good turns for first chair Tuesday morning.

As I mentioned on Sunday morning, the snowfall on Monday afternoon will create a hit-and-miss scenario so keep an eye on the snow stake cam and plan to wake up early Tuesday morning to enjoy the goods.

Tuesday

The storm will clear out on Monday night and we'll enjoy mostly sunny skies on Tuesday. Temps will start in the low single digits to maybe even below 0F and only rise into the low teens so bundle up if you're enjoying the first chair turns.

Wednesday - Friday

We'll then enter a period of dry weather and mostly sunny skies through Friday. Expect temps in the 20s on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, along with light winds each day. Ideal conditions to soak in the sun and enjoy all of the recent snowfall.

Upcoming Weekend & Beyond

We'll be tracking a weak storm that could bring light snow to Colorado to kick off the upcoming weekend.

Expect an increase in cloud coverage through Friday night, followed by a chance for light snow through Saturday. This could bring us anywhere from a dusting to maybe 1-2 inches, along with a slight cool down in temperatures.

Looking further ahead, we'll be tracking a stronger storm for Monday, February 6 through Tuesday, February 7. This storm continues to trend in the right direction so start planning for powder potential early next week.

We could then catch another break around February 9-11 ahead of more storminess from February 12-14. We can't ask for more than consistent snow with storms every 2-4 days. BRING. IT. ON.
