Sunday
Dry and slightly warmer weather will be the story on Sunday. You can also expect increasing cloud coverage and gustier winds during the second half of the day as temps climb into the low 30s.
Sunday Night - Monday
There isn't much new information to share regarding our next round of snow that is set to arrive on Sunday night. The storm is on its way!
For timing, expect flakes to begin to fly around midnight on Sunday night, followed by snowfall rates cranking up through late Sunday night and into early Monday morning.
As I mentioned on Saturday, this storm has good moisture, decent energy, cooling temps, and a wind switching to blow from the northwest. In total, look for 2-4 inches in Monday morning's reports, followed by another 1-3 inches from Monday morning through Monday evening.
Northwest flow on Monday could produce a few upside surprises so as of now, plan for soft(ish) turns for first chair Monday morning and maybe deeper turns through Monday afternoon.
Tuesday - Wednesday
Monday's storm will clear through Monday night and we'll receive mostly sunny skies on Tuesday morning. Tuesday will feature temps in the 20s, followed by partly sunny skies and more temps in the 20s on Wednesday.
Wednesday Night - Thursday
We'll then be tracking another quick-hitting storm that could arrive as early as Wednesday evening. This storm doesn't look overly impressive as it will be short-lived but it should pack a decent punch.
In total, we'll go with 2-4 inches from Wednesday evening through Thursday, with daytime highs only climbing into the single digits on Thursday so bundle up if you're looking to enjoy the fresh snow on Thursday morning.
Next Weekend & Beyond
Following multiple rounds of snow from Monday through Thursday, we'll return to dry weather from Friday, February 10 through Sunday, February 12. Expect mostly sunny skies and temps in the 20s.
Looking further ahead, we'll be keeping our attention locked onto the week of February 13 as another good-looking pattern moves into Colorado. As of now, we should see lighter snow around February 13-14, followed by a better chance for heavier snow around February 16.
Thanks for reading and enjoy the storm!
