Storm train arrives for Whistler, Coastal BC this week

Summary

A break in the pattern is occurring today aside from some isolated flurries. Big changes are on the way this week with several days of heavy snow ahead for the Coast Range each day from Monday through Friday. Conditions are going to be getting deep for areas such as Whistler by mid to late week. Great news as this part of BC really needs the snow! Interior ski areas will see much lighter snowfall than the Coast through Thursday, but from Friday through next weekend the Interior should see heavier snowfall. For powder hunters, Tuesday through Friday are looking great (minus early season coverage issues) across the Coast Range areas such as Whistler, with Revelstoke possibly seeing respectable conditions during this time as well. For most Interior areas, next weekend (December 21st-22nd) looks to be the prime window for skiing fresh powder.
