Lingering snow Friday, next week looks active

Summary

Two-day snowfall totals have ranged from 15-25 cm (6-10”) for most of BC’s ski areas, with Friday morning offering the best ski conditions. Additional light snow on Friday will lead to another trace-8 cm (trace-3”) across BC with lingering flurries persisting into Saturday as well. Sunday will be dry, then the next storm will arrive on Monday with the heaviest snow across Northern BC. Southern BC (where most ski areas are located) will see better chances of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, with an active pattern continuing through late next week.
