Powder Days Monday-Wednesday

Summary

The leading edge of a strong storm system is bringing snow to most areas on Monday. New snow Monday combined with the recent snow and cold temperatures has resulted in a nice powder day across both Coastal and Interior resorts. Snow will pick up late Monday night and early Tuesday morning as the main system approaches, with heavy snow falling across all of Coastal and Interior BC on Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning will offer the deepest turns, with additional light snow expected on the backside of the system on Wednesday. After a brief break in the action on Thursday, another strong storm will bring snow to all areas on Friday and Saturday. We will likely see a brief drier period arrive starting Sunday, January 12th with storms returning the area by around the 15th or 16th.
