More Light Snow then a Bigger Storm Cycle Later in The Week

Summary

Following a lull in the pattern during the day on Monday, a weak storm will bring more snow from Monday night through Tuesday morning, favoring the Coast Range and Southern Interior. A stronger storm will then arrive on Wednesday with freezing levels rising to 1,200-1,500 meters (4,000-5,000 ft) across the Coast Range. Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning will offer the best skiing conditions associated with this storm. Another storm will arrive Thursday night into Friday morning, bringing more snow but also warmer air and rising freezing levels. The strongest storm in this pattern is expected from later Friday through Saturday night, but freezing levels could peak as high as 2,000 meters (6,500 ft) during this storm. A strong cold front will then arrive Saturday night/Sunday morning with lingering snow for the Interior into Sunday along with snow levels rapidly falling to base areas.
