Powder focus shifts to Interior BC for Saturday

Summary

Coastal BC got its round of heavy snow on Thursday, and now the focus will shift to the Interior over the next couple of days. The heaviest snow will fall from Friday night through Saturday, with eastern areas the most favored - especially Fernie. Good storm skiing can be expected all-day Saturday across the Interior, with Sunday morning offering some leftovers as well. Generally dry conditions are expected from Sunday through the daytime hours on Tuesday, before the next (weaker) storm arrives Tuesday night and Wednesday. We may see another stronger storm arrive toward the end of next week as well.
