Powder day for the Interior
Summary
Today (Saturday) is the day to get out and ski fresh powder in BC’s Interior. Snow will fall heavily at times throughout the day, especially around southern and southeastern portions, including Fernie who will be in the best position to receive deep totals. A secondary disturbance will bring some additional light snow to portions of the Interior on Sunday, then we will dry out across Southern BC for a couple of days. The next storm will bring heavy snow to Northern BC on Monday and Tuesday, and light snow to Coastal BC and the North/Central Columbia region on Tuesday and early Wednesday. A stronger storm will then be possible for Southern BC toward the end of next week.
