Late season arctic front and southern snow

Summary

An arctic cold front is approaching from the north, which will bring some flurries to the area on Thursday night along with unseasonably cold temperatures for the weekend. Meanwhile, the next storm will brush portions of Southern BC on Friday and Saturday with light to moderate snow via south/southeast flow. Saturday morning should offer some fun powder turns for favored areas such as Whitewater. Starting on Sunday, high pressure will take control of the pattern, leading to a prolonged dry spell through most/all of next week (March 16-22). A warming trend will ensue from Monday through Thursday with a transition to spring skiing conditions. We may see a more active pattern return by around March 24th.
