British Columbia Daily Snow

By Alan Smith, Meteorologist Posted 4 years ago March 24, 2020
More snow showers on Tuesday
Summary
Almost all ski areas in British Columbia are closed for the season in order to fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The lone exception is Powder King in Northern BC, who remains open on Thursdays-Mondays. An unsettled pattern remains in place over Southern BC on Tuesday, which will result in off and on snow showers throughout the day and into Tuesday evening. Conditions will dry out across most areas on Wednesday before a weaker storm arrives on Thursday night and into Friday. A stronger multi-day storm cycle will then arrive this weekend, with more widespread snow expected from Saturday (3/28) through Monday (3/31) with heavy snow amounts likely adding up during this time.
