Break on Wednesday, light snow for most on Thursday

Summary

Almost all ski areas in British Columbia are closed for the season in order to fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The lone exception is Powder King in Northern BC, who remains open on Thursdays-Mondays. A break in the pattern is occurring on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies across most of BC, except across far eastern BC where clouds and lingering flurries will persist. A weaker storm will arrive on Thursday and Friday, bringing light snow to most of Southern BC while Northern BC will see heavier snow. A stronger storm will then arrive on Saturday and Sunday with heavy snow expected for most of Southern BC.
