Late week snow, heavy this weekend

Summary

Powder King has now officially shut down for the season, meaning that all ski areas in British Columbia are closed in order to fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus. A storm system is bringing snow to Northern BC on Thursday morning, and snow will start to spread into Southern BC later in the day on Thursday and into Thursday night, and will continue throughout the day on Friday bringing moderate snow amounts to some areas. A stronger storm will arrive over the weekend, bringing heavy snow to both Southern and Northern BC on Saturday and Sunday. An active pattern will persist through the first half of next week (3/30-4/1) with additional periods of snow along with warmer temperatures.
