Fernie surprise, Saturday storm remains on track

Summary

Fernie is enjoying a surprise powder day on Friday after Thursday's northwest flow storm resulted in 34 cm of new snow. A break in the pattern will occur on Friday, then the next storm will arrive on Friday night & Saturday with heavy snow for much of BC. Sunday-Tuesday will be relatively quiet, then a more active pattern will return to Southern BC leading up to Christmas.
