Cold and Dry Pattern Ahead

Summary

A weak disturbance will bring light snow showers to the Eastern Interior Fri-Fri night. Otherwise, dry conditions will prevail Sat to Wed as arctic air takes hold, leading to the coldest temps of the season so far. The next chance of snow will be around Jan 23-24. We may see another break after that, then models continue to hint at more active weather toward the end of Jan (low confidence).
