Clipper for Christmas

Summary

A shortwave low-pressure system will ride down the east slopes of the Rockies (aka Alberta Clipper) Saturday night bringing around 3 – 8cm for many resorts with around 10 – 15cm close to the Divide at Louise, Sunshine, and Castle by Christmas morning. A westerly flow aloft will keep breezy conditions in the alpine and keep temps relatively mild. Persistent daily snowfall extends into next week.
