Snow Returns Followed by Arctic Air to End the Week

Summary

High-pressure ridging, in various strengths, will dominate the weather over the Alberta Rockies through Thursday. There will be more clouds than sun this week as a NW flow feeds cloud cover and cool air. A deep Pacific upper-level low spinning offshore will send a shortwave storm system into the Rockies on Friday and Saturday. Accumulations in the 5 – 15cm range are likely for many resorts.
