Riding the Edge of the Storm - Polar Express Arrives Next Week

Summary

A broad upper-level trough will dig southward along the West Coast (US) on Saturday and Sunday. There appears to be enough upper-level spillover to bring widespread light accumulations across the Rockies. The southern Alberta Rockies look best positioned for up to 15cm possible this weekend. Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Marmot could see 5 – 12cm through Sunday. Arctic air looms for next week.
