High-Pressure Builds into Fri / Snow This Weekend

Summary

A convergence zone of Arctic air and a feed of Pacific moisture set up across the South Alberta Rockies, bringing a cumulative 20 cm to Castle and Pass Powderkeg over the past 48 hours. A skiff to 2 cm fell at Sunshine and Louise in the last 24. Cold mornings (-20C) will be common through Weds. Dry through next Fri when an extended period of widespread snow and warmer temps take over.
