Flurries on Thurs Banff & North / Mostly Dry Fri – Sun

Summary

Even though we are under a strong upper ridge, a stubborn surface low over NE Alberta will transport flurries on Thurs AM from Marmot Basin south to Sunshine Village. Trace amounts to 6 cm are possible. Marmot looks best positioned. The upper ridge will then dominate from Fri through Sun. A ‘backdoor’ (east to west) cold front will increase the chances of light accumulations Sun PM through Tues.
