Snow to impact most of the Rockies with colder temps this weekend and early next week.

Summary

Significant high elevation snow will be falling in northern Montana late Tuesday/Wednesday with up to 12-15 inches above 9,000 feet. Most of the snow will fall north or east of most ski areas. The weekend brings a sharp cool down with moderate or perhaps heavier bands of snowfall to most of the Rockies. Even the Sierra may see a tease albeit light on Thursday. By Monday morning when you look outside at the peaks you will get reminded at what things should look like as we approach the winter season.
