Feet of snow for North Carolina this weekend! Chase to the Pacific Northwest next week.
Summary
* The pattern is finally going to bring several systems into the Pacific Northwest. Expect light snow during the weekend becoming heavier midweek and next weekend (Dec 15-16). * Some spots in the Pacific Northwest including western British Columbia will nab 3-5 feet of snowfall at the summits in the next 7 days. * If you live on the east coast, North Carolina and Tennessee are going to see 10-20 inches in the mountains! * And leftovers from the Pacific Northwest will head to the northern Rockies during the middle of the week favoring northern Montana, central, and northern Idaho, northern Utah, and perhaps Colorado.
