Summary

The next round of moisture is just approaching the Sierra on Saturday and will bring 9-17 inches to many ski areas. This will favor the northern Sierra but decent amounts long the Crest even in the south. Temps are cold enough before the big warm-up next week. Where to chase from there? Many options. None are perfect.
