OCTOBER IS COMING IN WITH A BANG 9-20 INCHES FROM NORTHERN MONTANA EXTENDING INTO COLORADO LATE THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK
Summary
Cold air and significant moisture is dropping down from Canada late this weekend into early next week. Highlights include northern Montana, north central Wyoming and Colorado especially areas like Steamboat, and Rabbit ears pass extending down to perhaps Vail Pass. This will be the first significant storm for Colorado for the 2017 season! Montana will be measuring even deeper amounts in the northern portions of the State. Web cams showed some light snow fell today over the summits at Vail Ski area.
