Significant snow in the north Cascades heads East for the Rockies

Summary

Deep snow has been falling across the west on Monday and Tuesday. The Washington Cascades, northern Idaho, interior British Columbia, and Montana have all seen anywhere from 1-3+ FEET with the highest totals at Stevens Pass. Tuesday night through Thursday will see the heavy snow shift to Oregon, with additional snow in Montana and Idaho, then migrating to Utah and Colorado. Even the Sierra gets into the action with a wide area of 4-7 inches at upper elevations (Further north will see the highest amounts).
