Cooler air during first few days of October, but no significant snow

Summary

Monday will be a warm day, then a Tuesday cold front will drop temperatures east of the divide (Denver area) while a Wednesday cold front will drop temperatures for the mountains and will also bring a chance for light snow over far northern areas. Thursday and Friday will be warmer and dry, then a storm on Saturday or Sunday might bring another shot of cooler air and light snow. Otherwise, there is NO significant snow in the forecast at this point, but that doesn’t mean good or bad news for the season ahead.
