Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Colorado Daily Snow

Good morning folks! Friday's storm is looking good and I don't have much new information to pass along. The American GFS and European models are in decent agreement about the timing and snow amounts for the storm.

Since I don't see many changes to the forecast, my post from yesterday is a good summary of what to expect for timing and total accumulations. Give it a read. Overall, expect a few inches in the San Juans, about 3-6 inches for central Colorado, and 6-12 inches for areas along and north of I-70, with the higher amounts falling further north and east. Also, snow could fall down to the elevation of the plains on Friday, but don't expect much or any accumulation, which should stay above 6,500 feet.

The map below is from our Powder Finder page, which shows the top snowfall forecasts across the country in a one-stop shop. It's pretty awesome. Everyone has access to 2-day forecast maps and comparisons. Members get 5-day maps and comparisons. No pressure to upgrade:-), and thanks again for everyone who is a paying member - it helps us stay in business and continue to improve our service with more forecasters and better technology.

I'm driving to Telluride today for a conference tomorrow and Friday, so I'll look at updated model data late this afternoon and will post another update this evening if things change.
