Christmas Powder in the Southern Mountains

Summary

It is an especially Merry Christmas in the southern mountains where snow reports show about 10 inches of freshies. Enjoy! Wednesday’s weather will bring a few more inches of snow across the state and then Thursday will be dry. On Friday, the southern storm will move closer to Colorado than earlier forecasts show and this means that we should see 6-12+ inches in the southern mountains with powder getting deeper through the day on Friday and soft snow on Saturday morning too. Then we’ll look ahead to next Wednesday (New Years) as the next chance for a weak-to-moderate storm.
