Sunday morning powder, more to come

Summary

Saturday offered powder that wasn’t skied at some northern mountains. Otherwise, the day was dry with partly sunny skies and warm temperatures that rose to near 30°F. The dry weather only lasted for about 12 hours as additional snow arrived on Saturday night over the northern mountains with 2-8 inches on the Sunday morning snow reports. Expect more snow from Sunday through Tuesday with accumulations slowly shifting from the northern mountains to the central mountains and then to the southern mountains. I have lower-than-usual confidence about this 72-hour forecast and the setup is there for additional powder days on Monday and Tuesday.
