All ski areas are closed / Thursday storm update

Summary

To fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all Colorado ski areas are closed. Some mountains, including Vail Resorts, announced that this closure will continue through the end of the season. I know it’s inconvenient, but let’s all do our part of social distancing. From everything I’ve read, this really does matter and should help the situation work out much better than a worst-case scenario. ----- Weatherwise, the next storm will bring snow from Wednesday night through Friday morning with the most intense snow on Thursday into Thursday night. Most mountains will see 6-12 inches and we should be in the 12-18+ inch range for areas in the southwest and the northeastern mountains near and east of the divide.
