First of three storms

Summary

Snow fell on Thursday night, dropping 2-4 inches on most mountains with a high of 7 inches at Purgatory. Snow will relax on Friday and Friday night, then will pick up again on Saturday morning in the southern mountains as the second storms moves in. The snow will then push across all mountains on Saturday night, with yet another break on Sunday. The third and final storm will bring snow from Sunday night through Wednesday, favoring the southern and south-central mountains. After that, expect a week or so of dry weather, from about January 26 through February 3.
