Update

Saturday

It was an ‘everything’ type of day with snow showers, clouds, and also a few breaks of sunshine. Despite the snow showers, I only saw a dusting of accumulation on the mid-mountain snow stake cam.

Sunday – Sunday Night

A weak storm will track over northern Colorado and will bring another round of snow showers on Sunday and through Sunday midnight.  Like Saturday, expect a mix of dry weather, times of snow, and light accumulations of perhaps 1-3 inches. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Monday 3/25 – Wednesday 3/27

If we get snow accumulation on Sunday night, then you might find some soft snow on Monday morning.

Otherwise, on Monday, look forward to sunny skies with highs in the 30s.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the dry weather will continue, there will be a few clouds filtering the sunshine, and high temperatures will be warmer, heading up into the 40s by late in the afternoon.

Thursday 3/28 – Friday 3/29

All forecast models continue to show that a storm will hit Colorado during this time, though all forecast models are also showing a trend toward weakening this system.

I am keeping my expectations low for snow, for now, and will say that we’ll likely see colder weather arrive on Thursday with snow through Friday and maybe a few inches of new snow later Thursday and through Friday. This storm is still 5-6 days away, so I am sure that the forecast will continue to adjust.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
