Update

Sunday morning was another fun time to be on the hill with soft conditions thanks to new snow from Saturday night on top of multiple days of new snowfall.

Sunday’s weather was mostly dry, then on Sunday night, we saw just a few flakes and maybe 1/2 an inch of snow accumulate at mid-mountain.

Now on Monday morning, light snow is falling and we should see snow showers with light accumulations through about noon.

Between Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon, expect a break in the storms with mostly dry weather.

Then the next wave of snow will hit on Tuesday night. The forecasts for this wave have trended farther north which means that we should expect lower accumulations, perhaps just an inch or two, with up to 3+ inches if we get lucky.

Expect another break in the weather with some sunshine from Wednesday morning through Thursday evening.

Looking out to the end of the week, the news is very good as we’ll see snow from Thursday night through Friday afternoon. I’ll go with a general forecast for 4-8 inches during this window. The best powder will likely be on Friday midday and afternoon because the snow will continue throughout the day.

Following the Friday storm, the atmosphere will take a break and it looks like we’ll see dry weather for the MLK holiday weekend and through most of the following week.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
