Update

This is a short update on Friday morning because there’s not much to think about – get out on the hill and enjoy the powder!

Snow began falling on Wednesday night with 1 inch of accumulation, snow fell heavily on Thursday with about 5 inches of accumulation, and snow fell heavily on Thursday night with an additional 12 inches of accumulation (wow!).

As I write this at 500am on Friday morning, snow continues to fall heavily and it’ll continue like this through most of Friday with another 5-10+ inches of accumulation.

The only caveat to Friday’s deep powder conditions is that strong winds likely have moved some snow in exposed areas and could affect lift operations on Friday.

Get out and have a blast!

The steady snow may wind down later on Friday, though we should see pulses of intense snow through about Friday at midnight or even longer. This means that Saturday morning should also be fun with maybe 3-6 inches falling after lifts close on Friday.

Saturday will be dry with some sunshine.

On Saturday night and Sunday, the next round of snow will arrive and we should see 3-6 inches during this time. It’s a tricky storm and I have low confidence in the forecast. Stay tuned.

The forecast for next week is trending less snowy. We may still see flakes but accumulations could be low until a stronger storm arrives sometime around Friday to Saturday, February 14-15.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
