Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Snow on Tuesday into Wednesday & powder possible on Saturday at Copper
Summary
Monday will be another dry and windy day. We should then see snow on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Short Term Forecast
Sunday was a dry, sunny, and windy day with gusts of 40+ mph at the summit.
Monday will be another dry day. We’ll see more clouds and continued gusty winds, though speeds could be a little slower compared to Sunday.
On Monday night, snowflakes should begin to fall around midnight, and snow will continue all day on Tuesday, throughout Tuesday night, and at least into Wednesday morning (snow showers may fall during Wednesday midday and afternoon as well). Some models show just light accumulations and other models show 6+ inches. I am leaning toward the higher amounts due to a lot of moisture heading into Colorado, and moisture serves as the fuel for snowfall.
From Wednesday night to Thursday, we might see a break in the snowfall or just lighter accumulations.
Then from Thursday night to Saturday, another storm will bring snow and my early estimate is that we’ll see 5-10 inches by Saturday morning and the best snow will likely be on Saturday.
Extended Forecast
The next storm should move into Colorado on Sunday into Monday, though there is a chance that this storm will dive a little too far to the south to bring us a lot of snow.
Then during the week of February 15-21, most models show that additional storms will move into Colorado from the west or northwest. This is good news and should keep the snowy times going!
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
