Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Powder possible Wed, Thu, and Fri at Copper
Summary
We will see waves of snow every 24 hours through the weekend with some freshies possible each morning.
Short Term Forecast
Monday’s weather was dry, mostly sunny, and comfortable with high temperatures around 40 degrees.
On Tuesday, we’ll have a moderate chance for snow showers and light accumulations throughout the day.
Then the best chance for accumulating snow should be from Tuesday late afternoon through Wednesday early morning. I still think 2-4+ inches is a reasonable forecast for Wednesday morning, which means there is some powder possible. That said, my confidence in the forecast is low, so keep your eye on the snow stake cam to see what the atmosphere actually delivers!
On Wednesday evening and night, we should see another round of snow with a few inches of accumulation possible by Thursday morning.
Then from Thursday afternoon through Friday morning, the strongest and coldest wave of the storm could drop 3-6+ inches of snow, which would create soft and fun conditions on Friday morning.
Extended Forecast
Looking into the weekend, yet another wave of snow could bring at least a few inches of accumulation on Friday night and Saturday.
Then the final wave from this storm could come in the form of a glancing blow later Monday into Tuesday.
Beyond that, we won’t be done with the snow, as most longer-range models show chances for flakes with a few additional storms through late April.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
