Wednesday storm day

Summary

Snow will begin on Wednesday morning, but the best chance for the softest turns should be during Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.

Update

Tuesday was partly sunny and warm with a high temperature in the 30s.

Now on Wednesday morning, very light snow has just started at around 600am. There is no accumulation yet, but the upper elevations are seeing a few flakes.

During Wednesday morning, we could see snow showers, though I think accumulations will be light.

During Wednesday afternoon and evening is when we will have the best chance for steadier snow with accumulations of 3-7 inches. This timing means that there could be some soft snow to enjoy during the last few runs of the day on Wednesday (with temperatures in the teens), and then we will also see soft snow on Thursday morning's first chair (with temperatures in the single digits).

Thursday and Friday will both be partly sunny days with mostly dry weather. There could be a few passing snow showers on Thursday night (with little accumulation). The high temperature on Thursday will be in the teens and the high on Friday will be a little warmer, around 20°F.

Saturday and Sunday will be sunny with warmer temperatures and a high of around 30°F.

Next week's weather will be active with a chance for snow most days, along with cool temperatures. The first round of snow should arrive at some point on Monday and continue through Tuesday, with some powder possible on Tuesday if the current forecast holds.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
