Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Spring through Thursday, then back to Winter
Summary
Enjoy the sunshine and warm temperatures for most of this week. Then snow will return on Friday and we'll see flakes through the middle of March.
Update
Sunday was another gorgeous day with sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures in the 30s.
The weather on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will also be sunny, and temperatures will warm up each day.
Highs on Monday will be in the 30s and on Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be very warm with highs in the 40s.
On Thursday, we'll see more clouds covering the sky, though temperatures will continue to be warm with highs in the 40s.
These warm temperatures will create soft and slushy snow during the afternoon on south-facing and lower-elevation slopes, with crunchy conditions in the morning due to the overnight freeze. The best snow conditions will likely be found during the late morning when the crunchy snow has softened but is not yet too soft.
On Friday, our weather will change, with snow becoming likely during the afternoon and evening, and we will see chances for snow likely extend into Saturday, Sunday, and throughout much of the following week.
It is wonderful to see that the long-range forecast is for cold and snowy weather, but I cannot yet offer many details about which days could bring the most snow and how much snow we might receive. The most that I can say right now is that there will be a chance for some powder during the weekend of March 5-6, and I hope that we'll be able to dial in the details of the forecast during the next few days.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
