Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Wind and some snow
Summary
A strong wind will affect the mountain all day on Tuesday, and we'll also see some snowflakes.
Update
Monday was a sunny, warm, and calm day.
And then on Monday night, the wind arrived with gusts of 50-70 mph at the summit.
On Tuesday, unfortunately, the main story will be the wind with 50+mph gusts at the upper elevations all day. This will likely affect lift operations.
In terms of snow, there should be some, with a little already falling as we look out from the summit on Tuesday morning.
While the fast wind gusts will overshadow the snowfall as the main story, we should be able to eke out some snow (a few inches?) on Tuesday and Tuesday evening, so there could be soft conditions somewhere that the wind manages to leave alone.
Looking ahead, Wednesday will be chilly with a high temperature in the teens, Thursday will be sunny and warmer with a high in the 20s to low 30s, and Friday and Saturday will be warmer with a high in the upper 30s to low 40s.
There is a chance that we'll see some precipitation later on Saturday or on Sunday, but it's a little too early to lock in the forecast for those days.
Then looking ahead to next week, we will likely see cool and stormy weather on many days, with a chance for a powder day or two on Tuesday, April 12, or Wednesday, April 13.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
