Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Storm arrives on Friday afternoon
Summary
Wednesday and Thursday will be dry, then we'll switch to snowy weather from Friday afternoon through the weekend.
Update
Tuesday was dry and warm with highs in the 40s.
On Tuesday night, a storm moved across the northern mountains and left 1-2 inches of fresh snow on the mountain by Wednesday morning. This should create a few soft turns on top of the groomers on Wednesday morning.
Wednesday and Thursday will be dry, sunny, and warm days with a high in the 40s to low 50s.
Friday will be a transition day with clear skies and warm weather during the morning and midday, then we'll see snow showers begin late on Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday morning. This first round of snow should bring 2-5 inches, so there should be soft turns on top of the groomers on Saturday morning.
During Saturday and Saturday night, snow showers will continue to hit the northern mountains, and this could mean anything from another inch or two of snow to 5+ inches of snow. These showers will be like summertime thunderstorms – we know that they are coming but we don't know exactly where they will be located. We'll hope for the best, and if a few of the stronger showers do hit the mountain, then Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning could continue to offer soft turns.
Sunday should be a time when we see the snow showers mostly move to the southeast of the mountain, so closing day could be a mix of snow showers and sunshine – a fitting way to end the season!
