Snow will increase during the day on Sunday, with moderate to heavy snow likely by late afternoon and continuing through Monday morning. You should probably make it a long weekend and enjoy the powder on Monday morning (there will likely be more than a foot on the report), but if you do have to head home on Sunday evening, try to leave earlier rather than later as traffic plus heavy snow could cause travel issues on I-70 around Eisenhower tunnel. The snow will continue on Monday and Monday night with perhaps another 4-8 or 5-10 inches, so Monday's snow conditions should be soft all day, and there could be additional powder for Tuesday morning as well. Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday night will be dry, then another storm will bring 4-8 inches of snow on Christmas day and Christmas night.
