Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Enjoy this Monday powder day at Copper as 9 inches fell during the day on Sunday and then another 8 inches fell Sunday night. Monday will be a chilly and windy day with another 2-4 or 3-6 inches of snow falling from off-and-on snow showers. The winds during this storm were very strong, so to find the least wind-affected powder, you'll likely want to stay in or near the trees and on slopes facing southeast (opposite of the direction that the wind was coming from). Snow showers could continue after closing time and through midnight Monday night, then Tuesday will be a chilly day with some sun and perhaps a few lingering flurries. Wednesday will be dry, then the next storm will bring snow on Christmas Day through Thursday night and perhaps into Friday morning with early indications pointing to 4-8 inches. Another storm could bring additional snow Sunday the 28th through Monday the 29th.
