Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago January 3, 2015
Snow started to fall just before sunrise and it will continue through the day on Saturday and last into early Saturday evening. Expect about 3-6 inches of snow with temperatures in the low 20s during the day. After a lull in the snowfall on Saturday night, times of light-to-moderate snow should continue on Sunday, Sunday night, Monday, Monday night, and Tuesday, before coming to an end by Tuesday afternoon. I'm only expecting an inch or two of accumulation during each day and night from Sunday through Tuesday, so I don't know that any one day will be a big powder day, but consistent snow showers each day should keep conditions soft.
Temperatures will warm to the upper 20s on Monday and Tuesday, then into the 30s on Wednesday and Thursday with dry and sunny weather. The next chance of snow will be on Saturday, January 10th.
