Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Enjoy a sunny day today on Friday with mid-mountain temperatures warming to the mid to upper teens. Temperatures at the base may actually be cooler as the colder, heavier air is trapped in the valley. Two inches of snow fell during Thursday afternoon and evening, so the slopes should be soft and fun this morning.
Looking ahead, expect snow from Saturday morning through Tuesday morning, with the heaviest snow likely falling during the day on Saturday (3-6 inches) and also potentially Sunday afternoon into Monday morning. I'm not sure that any one of these days will be a full-on powder day, but consistent light-to-moderate snow over multiple days could lead to some sneaky-good conditions on the hill Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The middle of next week (Tuesday afternoon through Thursday) should be dry, then more snow is likely sometime around Friday, January 9 to Saturday, January 10.
