Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Wednesday and Wednesdsay night's forecast is a tough one. Two storms will collide over southern Colorado. This is giving the forecast models fits and there is little agreement on the details. My best bet for Copper is that there could be a few flakes on Wednesday morning, then there will be a period of perhaps steadier snowfall Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday evening, followed by clearing skies and drier weather after midnight on Wednesday night. I'm only expecting a couple of inches, maximum, out of this storm, but with all of its complications, be ready for real life to be different than this forecast.

Looking ahead, Thursday should be dry, and Friday through next Monday will also be mostly dry, though we could see times of clouds and flurries or light snow showers as storms clip northern Colorado on their way to the east coast. The next chance for more significant snow will be during the second half of next week, around the end of January.
