Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago January 23, 2015
We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies above Copper on Friday, Saturday, and continuing into Sunday morning as weak storms clip northern Colorado. There could be a few flurries or snow showers that drop from these clouds from time-to-time, especially Friday evening and Saturday evening, but I'm expecting little to no accumulation. Temperatures will remain chilly on Friday and Saturday, in the 20s to near 30F, and then will warm into the 30s on Sunday.
For next week, Monday and Tuesday will be dry with very warm temperatures (highs in the 40s, grab your t-shirt and sunscreen!). Then we could see clouds and snow showers return on Wednesday and Thursday as a storm pushes north from Mexico. Next Friday could be an in-between day, and then another storm may bring snow showers back to Copper around Saturday, January 31st. Overall, though, I do not see significant snow in the forecast for the next 7-10 days, so enjoy the nice coverage that exists on the mountain, and do your snow dance or wash your car in hopes of bringing back the power!
