Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago January 25, 2015

Good Sunday morning, Copper Mountain. A few flakes fell on the slopes between about midnight and 5am, so there will be a bit of 'dust' to enjoy on the groomers. Clouds could hang on through at least midday, though temperatures should warm into the 30s by afternoon. For Monday, all clouds will clear out, so look for a sunny and very warm day with highs in the 40s.

While the overall weather pattern for the next 10 days is not a favorable one to bring cold temperatures and consistent snow, there will be two chances for snow as weak storms push moisture northward from Mexico. The first of these weak systems will move through on Wednesday with the chance of a few inches of accumulation, and another one of these systems could move through around Saturday, January 31st. I hope that each these storms will find a way to drop more than "a few inches", but right now that's the best forecast I can offer.
