What a storm!

Summary

Sunday was a super fun powder day, and there will be soft stashes and more powder all over the mountain on Monday.

Update

Sunday was a deep powder day thanks to the snow on Saturday night and about 11 additional inches of snow falling throughout the day on Sunday.

Sunday night delivered an additional 3-4 inches of snow, and also, gusty winds returned, so conditions on Monday morning will range from soft-on-soft, to windblown in some more exposed areas.

The total snowfall from last Tuesday night through Sunday night is 33 inches. What a storm cycle!

Monday will bring more snow (3-8+ inches?) during the morning and midday as a narrow band of more intense snow hangs near I-70. This means we will have more powder and gusty winds on Monday. Temperatures will be in the teens and single digits, and dropping during the afternoon.

Tuesday will be dry and partly sunny with cold temperatures in the morning (below 0°F) and then warming into the single digits and teens during the afternoon.

Wednesday and Thursday will bring more snow with flakes beginning to fall on Wednesday morning and continuing through Thursday morning. I think snow totals will be 3-7 inches with some powder both on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Temperatures on both days will be in the 20s.

The longer-range outlook is for dry weather on Friday and Saturday, and then we may see snow showers and light accumulations any time between Sunday, January 21, and Wednesday, January 24. Temperatures on all days will be in the 20s to low 30s.
